Patharkandi College Organises Special Talk on Developmen

Patharkandi College Today, on 20th August 2025, the Department of Arabic at Patharkandi College successfully organised a Special Talk on the Development of Language within the college premises. The event was aimed at promoting linguistic knowledge, cultural understanding, and academic awareness among students. The session attracted approximately 50 students, who actively participated and gained valuable insights into the historical and contemporary significance of the Arabic language in India.
The occasion was graced by Dr. Ramjan Ali, a distinguished Research Scholar, and Dr. Samsuzzuha, Retired Principal of Maldah HS School, who attended as special guests. The presence of such eminent personalities added prestige to the programme and motivated the students to learn from their experiences. The event commenced with the felicitation of the guests, during which both guests were honored with bouquets and mementos as a token of respect.
Following the felicitation ceremony, the technical session began. The speakers elaborately discussed the origin and evolution of the Arabic language in the Indian subcontinent, tracing its historical roots and academic relevance. They emphasized the role of Arabic in shaping cultural narratives, literature, and scholarly discourse in the region.
