A preparatory meeting for the upcoming Mega Health Camp at Patharkandi was successfully held at the BJP Patharkandi Mandal Office, bringing together key leaders and local representatives to ensure the event’s smooth and impactful execution.
The meeting was attended by both Mandal Presidents, senior BJP leadership, Zilla Parishad members, Gram Panchayat Presidents, and a large number of enthusiastic Karyakartas, BJYM youths, and Mahila Morcha members. The focus remained on the meticulous planning and successful organization of the health camp, which aims to deliver quality healthcare services to children in the region.
A Noble Health Mission Under Assam’s Visionary Leadership
The Mega Health Camp is being organized under ‘Susrusha Setu’, a transformative healthcare initiative launched by the Assam Government under the visionary leadership of Hon’ble Chief Minister Dr. Himanta Biswa Sarma. This noble campaign seeks to provide free medical consultations, medicines, diagnostic services, and preventive health awareness, especially to those living in rural and remote areas.
Focus on Child Health and Disease Prevention
The upcoming camp will focus primarily on children below 18 years of age, ensuring screening for over 50 diseases. It will also provide on-the-spot treatment, followed by subsequent follow-up phases, and where necessary, referrals to tertiary and super-speciality hospitals for advanced free treatment. mla
