RJ Priyanka, popularly known as the vibrant voice of Red FM Siliguri, began her journey from humble roots in North Bengal, West Bengal. Growing up in a middle-class Bengali family, she was always fascinated by storytelling, voice modulation, and connecting with people through conversations. Her passion for communication led her to explore opportunities in public speaking, cultural events, and school radio programs.

From a very young age, Priyanka was known among her peers for her expressive voice and confidence on stage. Her early education took place in Siliguri, where she not only excelled academically but also actively participated in elocution contests, anchoring school functions, and community events. This shaped her ability to connect with diverse audiences and build a natural command over both Hindi and Bengali, which later became her strength as an RJ.

After completing her higher secondary education, she pursued her graduation in Mass Communication or Media Studies (exact institution unknown), where she got her first exposure to radio production and scripting. She interned at local FM stations during college, learning the technical and creative aspects of being an RJ.
