Saudi-Job-Reality-Success-Failure-Top-Skills-2025 Saudi Reality One Millionaire’s Smile, Thousands in Pain, and the Top 5 Skills That Still Offer Hope in 2025In a country where oil and opportunity flow, it’s easy to believe that wealth comes easy. But the truth is — only a few rise beyond average.

This is the inspiring story of a Saudi luxury travel company CEO, who doesn’t flaunt gold or social media fame, but instead carries a smile that speaks louder than money. His business isn’t just about private jets or island weddings — it’s about brand, service, and mindset.
What sets him apart? A rare formula: peace of mind and positivity in business. Let’s uncover how this smile became a million-dollar secret

Trapped in Saudi Arabia: When There’s No Job, No Sponsor, and Only Struggle

Smiling face in the crowd: The story of a Saudi CEO
The first person I met is a Saudi citizen and the CEO of a luxury travel company. His world is different — birthday parties on private jets, honeymoon packages in Switzerland and wedding ceremonies on private islands. Every package is not just a trip, but a branded experience.

He now has his eyes on the Bangladeshi luxury class, whom he wants to make his next customer. The most impressive thing I found during the conversation was his smile. Despite being a CEO, there was no arrogance, no show-off. The body was divided in fitness and the soul in contentment.

Anonymous Bangladeshi millionaire: Recognized by philosophy, not by name
The second person is from Bangladesh, but he wants to be known by his work, not by name. He has no Facebook account, no public posts. But as far as I understood him, he is an “exception”. Despite earning crores, there is no arrogance, no greed.

He taught me a formula — a very simple formula — but difficult to implement. “Don’t act”. Meaning? If you can’t do a task with a smile, then don’t do it. If you get angry at someone, then don’t respond immediately. If your heart is hurting, then don’t hurt others. Its formula is: Smile = Peace = Earning.

Not everyone is successful in Saudi Arabia
Many people come to Saudi Arabia, but not everyone is successful. Many people are eating the toppers of companies, many people are roaming on the streets. Some are Pakistani, some Bangladeshi, some Indian. But only a select few among them make their way. I found these two people among them. One is a branded CEO, the other is a silent millionaire.

What is the lesson?
Both of them taught me that:
A smile is the cheapest and most effective branding.
Truthfulness in work, peace in thinking and balance in life – this is real success.
If you help others, your own progress will happen automatically.

Conclusion
It is easy to dream in Saudi Arabia, but it is a struggle to achieve them. These two stories tell us that if you keep smiling even in the midst of difficulties, then every pain becomes easier to bear. Where thousands of people are stuck in the problems of visa, brokers, and companies, these two people become an inspiration – because of their simplicity, honesty and smile.

Every year, thousands arrive in Saudi Arabia with hopes of a better life. Some sell land, borrow money, or take huge loans just to reach here saudi-job-reality-success-failure-top-skill

But once they land, the story is different. Many fall into the trap of fake agents, uncooperative sponsors, and end up wandering the streets — jobless, homeless, or with a Hurub (absconding) status that puts their future in danger.
In this section, we uncover real stories of pain, betrayal, and legal dead-ends that many South Asians face — including skilled workers with no opportunit

Process of returning home after being caught by the police and getting a final exit
Question: I want to go home after being caught by the police, how can I go? Where will I be caught and arrested immediately?

Answer: In Saudi Arabia, illegal immigrants or people in Hurub (runaway from work) status can voluntarily surrender to the police if they want to return home. However, it is important to follow this process correctly, so that fines or jail time can be avoided. Here are the steps:
Checking the status of Iqama and passport:

Both your Iqama and passport are expired. First, make sure that you have Hurub status. This can be checked through the Absher portal or the Ministry of Human Resources and Social Development (MHRSD) website. If you do not have an Absher account, contact the nearest Maktab Al Amel (Labor Office)

Voluntary Surrender:
The Saudi government occasionally launches a “Special Exit Program” for illegal immigrants, where they are given the opportunity to return to the country without jail or fine. Contact the Bangladesh Embassy in Riyadh or Jeddah to confirm whether this program is running.

You can surrender directly at the nearest immigration office, Safarjail (travel jail), or deportation center. In this case, take your passport (even if expired) or a copy of your visa. If you do not have a passport, you will need to collect an outpass (special travel pass) from the Bangladesh Embassy.

This article is not based on any government statistics or official reports, but on real-life stories and experiences that people often cannot speak openly about.

When mouths were silenced, these words came out on paper – this is the reality of real life, not some fictional fact/

Riyadh: Contact the Labor Office or Immigration Office located in Rawda area. Services are available from 6 am (closed on Fridays and Saturdays).

Jeddah: Visit the Labor Welfare Section of the Bangladesh Consulate General.

Deportation Center: If you want to be arrested by the police, go to the nearest police station and tell them that you want to return home. They will send you to the deportation center, where the final exit visa process will be completed.

Warning: If you are arrested by the police, you may be given the opportunity to contact your sponsor. If the sponsor does not come or there is a hurub case, you may be fined or imprisoned for a short period.

Documents required for final exit:

Expired passport or outpass (from the embassy).

Copy of Iqama (if available) or Hudud number of the visa.

Traffic fines or other dues must be paid (if available).

Airline ticket arrangements (sometimes the Saudi government or embassy arranges this)

Final Exit from Maktab Al Amel:
Go to Maktab Al Amel (Labor Office) and contact your sponsor. If the sponsor agrees to issue a Final Exit Visa, the process will be easy. This can be done through the sponsor’s recommendation or through your manager.

If the sponsor does not agree, you can complain to the Labor Office. According to Saudi Labor Law, the sponsor is obligated to pay you your outstanding salary or other benefits (such as medical insurance).

To obtain a Final Exit from Maktab Al Amel, you need to confirm the validity of your Iqama, the sponsor’s approval, and financial settlement.

Other Documents:
No additional documents are usually required except for the Final Exit, but check with Absher or the Labor Office if you have any cases or fines in your name.

If you contact the Bangladesh Embassy & Embassy they can issue an outpass and will assist you in the return process.

Saudi Reality Thousands in Pain?
What to do first?

Contact the Bangladesh Embassy/Consulate

Riyadh → +966-11-419-5300 • Jeddah → +966-12-687-8465

The Embassy can issue an “out-pass” (Emergency Travel Document) and offer ways to clear hurub—return without fines—especially if the amnesty program is active.

The Saudi government is running a 6-month status-correction for domestic workers and other migrants in 2025-26; voluntary reporting may waive fines/imprisonment.

Go to Shumaysi Deportation Center (Riyadh) or Al-Rehab Center (Jeddah), or present yourself at the nearest police station/Jawazat office.

Documents – Have an expired Iqama passport (or embassy-issued out pass).

Final exit visa is usually issued within 7-14 days; may be in camp detention during this time.

No pending traffic fines, debts, or criminal cases—or visa may be withheld. Embassy/Labor Office (MHRSD) can also file a complaint for eligible unpaid wages.

Validity – Must leave the country within 60 days from issuance, or face SAR 1,000 fine. lexismiddleeast.com

In rare cases, visa can be issued without iqama; out-pass will do if passport is not available.

Ticket is usually bought by the expatriate himself; in some cases embassy or social-welfare fund helps.

Show final exit papers + passport/out-pass to immigration at airport; iqama does not have to be submitted.
