Who is Tamanna? Tamanna is a young, dedicated, and aspiring medical student from the culturally rich region of Sribhumi – area of Karimganj district, Assam. She is the beloved daughter of Advocate Momotaz (Mamta) Begum, one of Karimganj’s highly respected legal professionals and political leaders, and Kabir Ahmed, a prominent grassroots political figure known throughout the Barak Valley for his leadership and social involvement. Born into a family where education, public service, and community responsibility have always been deeply valued, Tamanna has grown up surrounded by strong role models who prioritize discipline, compassion, and social commitment.

Tamanna’s early life reflects the warmth of a supportive family environment. Raised in an atmosphere of courage and academic discipline, she inherited her mother’s determination and her father’s leadership qualities. Her mother, Advocate Momotaz Begum, a B.A., L.L.B graduate with 23 years of legal experience, currently serves as the In-Charge President of Karimganj District Mahila Congress Committee, while her father, Kabir Ahmed, has spent decades working for the people as Vice-President of Karimganj DCC, Vice-Chairman of the APCC Minority Department, and a known community leader of Ashimganj Bazaar and Tilabari-Bandarkuna.

With such a strong foundation, Tamanna naturally gravitated toward academics and service-oriented fields. She is currently pursuing her medical education at Harrier Education – Exclusive Partner of Pakistan Tops Medical University, where she studies under modern academic systems with hostel facilities and access to Indian food. Her commitment to her field was recently highlighted during the White Coat Ceremony 2025 organized for Uzbek medical students at Hotel RKD Inn, Guwahati, where she attended the ceremony alongside her mother. This moment symbolized the beginning of her professional journey in medicine.

Supported continuously by her mother and father, she is growing not only as a medical student but also as a responsible young woman with clarity, ambition, and a strong desire to serve society.
