Palestinian Children Killed in Gaza: October 7, 2023 – August 10, 2025
The Silent Deaths in Palestine A Call for Humanity It is a simple truth: if a human being is deprived of food and water, death will follow within days. Yet in our world today, there are those so cruel that they deliberately inflict this suffering on others — watching people starve, refusing them even a sip of water, and letting them die before their very eyes.
Reports tell us of The Silent Deaths in Palestine imprisoned by Israel, who lost their lives in such conditions. Among them was a man named Mohammad, whose only “crime” was his existence under occupation. Many others, too, have perished in this silent way — their bodies later buried in mass graves, sometimes dug by heavy machines like JCBs.
Since the beginning of Israel’s oppression of Palestine, such tragedies have become so frequent that the world has almost stopped noticing. The videos and testimonies are too painful to show in full, yet they continue to circulate — heartbreaking reminders of a crisis that has not ended.
To the people of the world:
Do not turn away. Do not let this suffering fade into the background. Remember the faces of the children, the elders, and the youth dying not from bombs, but from hunger and thirst. Remember that they are human beings, just like us.
Raise your voice for the oppressed. Stand for justice. And never forget that Allah hears the cries of the innocent — even if the world remainsThe Silent Deaths in Palestine
The Journey of the Soul in Islam (According to Qur’an & Sahih Hadith)
1 The Moment of Death
Angel of Death (Malik al-Mawt) comes with angels of mercy (for the righteous) or angels of punishment (for the wicked).
For the believer: the soul is taken gently, like water flowing from a jug (Ahmad 17803).
For the disbeliever/sinner: it is pulled harshly, like thorns being dragged through wet wool (Ibn Majah 4262).
Correction: The soul does not stay by the body during washing or shrouding. It is taken immediately.
Qur’an 39:42 — “Allah takes the souls at the time of their death…”
2. Ascent to the Heavens
Angels carry the soul upward.
Righteous soul: greeted, praised, and gates of heaven open until it reaches the highest place (‘Illiyyun).
Wicked soul: rejected; gates are closed, and it is cast back down (Qur’an 7:40).
Hadith: Allah says, “Record the book of My servant in ‘Illiyyun and return him to the earth.” (Ahmad)
3. Return to the Body in the Grave
After ascent, the soul is returned to the body once it’s placed in the grave.
No authentic source mentions the deceased “waking up three times” or trying to sit alone.
The sitting up happens when angels question the deceased.
4. Questioning by Munkar and Nakir
Two terrifying angels ask:
Who is your Lord?
What is your religion?
Who is your Prophet?
Believers: Answer confidently — “My Lord is Allah, my religion is Islam, my Prophet is Muhammad ﷺ.”
Disbelievers/Hypocrites: Say “I don’t know” or give the wrong answer.
Strength to answer correctly comes from Allah (Qur’an 14:27).
5. Life in Barzakh
Barzakh is the state between death and Resurrection (Qur’an 23:100).
For believers: the grave is expanded, filled with light, a window to Paradise is shown.
For sinners/disbelievers: the grave is constricted, dark, with a window to Hell.
These are “preview” states — the final judgment comes on the Day of Resurrection.
6. Awareness of the Living
The dead may know of visitors and benefit from their du‘a, charity, or Qur’an recitation (Muslim 976).
No authentic proof of:
Souls freely visiting family on certain days
Angels announcing every visitor
Weak/fabricated reports exist, but authentic texts state souls remain in Barzakh.
✅ Authentic Focus:
Remember death often (Tirmidhi 2307).
Live upon Tawheed and Sunnah.
Make istighfar and prepare for the answers in the grave.
Ask Allah for husn al-khatimah (a good end).
